Check around at Crosscut, Woodcraft and Rockler's. I have seen lots of bulletin board ads for coop shop space, frequently with use of major power tools. Not boat-specific, but might turn something up.
: I would love to have a great shop somewhere near home but not in my garage
: where I could go and build a boat over 6 months and only have to pay for
: the space while I needed it. Perhaps a place where other boatbuilders also
: worked so you could borrow tools from one another and share ideas as
: needed.
: I was thinking that it would be a great thing to find a co-op or club that
: would allow a guy to get some shop space in a nice facility with good
: lighting, electrical and maybe dust collection and "tools for
: loan". Just a shop club that would be a good place to build a boat.
: Has anyone heard of such a place in the greater Seattle area?
