It may not be worth the trouble. The stitch holes look like small dark spots when filled with epoxy, and vanish once you stand back from the boat by more than 3 or 4 feet. I also like the effect when you look at the inside of the boat in strong daylight and all the stitch holes let light into the boat interior.
