Went to Lowe's last night to look at available wood. They had Inland Red Cedar. Has anyone an idea of what this is? It is not the eastern airomatic. Has anyone used Ponderosa Pine? This would be used more for accent than the whole boat. What is the relaltive weight of the pine?

Other than the table in Nick's book, does anyone have a list of the relative weight of various type of kayak building wood?
