Specific Gravity of Ponderosa Pine: 0.40 Vs WR Cedar : 0.32. Inland Red Cedar is the same as thing as Western Red Cedar. This information is out of the "Encyclopedia of Wood" which is a reprint of the Wood Handbook - see the link below.

: Went to Lowe's last night to look at available wood. They had Inland Red
: Cedar. Has anyone an idea of what this is? It is not the eastern
: airomatic. Has anyone used Ponderosa Pine? This would be used more for
