I avoid the tight "V" by mixing up a batch of micro ballons with epoxy and filleting it in the stems with a gloved thumb before laying in the glass. Another advantage to this is if one wanted, they could put in even more fill and avoid having to do an end pour or at least minimize the amount of pour needed. One more advantage to the filleting of the inner stems is that you don't have to mess with a lot of sanding in that small space.
