When I started building, I took what I thought was the best advice at the time in deciding on the brand and formulas of epoxy to use. I have been reluctant to switch brands because I didn't want to take chances on the results being less than my current expectations and results.
I would like to know, from those of you use who do a lot of building and have had tried various epoxies, what brand and formulation you prefere.
I have been thinking of switching to use Raka epoxies.
Another question / comment is: Epoxy manufactureres strongly discurage using different brands and sometimes even their own formulas with each other. I have been woundering if anyone has used one formulation for wetout, then switched to a "less expensive" formulation or brand for fill. If so, what kind of results did you achieve? Is it worth messing with or is any cost advantage too minimal?
