Since the best reading on the web is the Kayak Building Bulleton Board, I suggested Anna read a string I started. This string of course. Then I took her to the website that shows all the different types of mapping that can be loaded into the GPS. That planted the seed and got Anna thinking.

Two days ago Anna and I were out petroglyph hunting along a mesa. It became pretty obviuos that refinding the glyphs at a later date would be very difficult. So Anna says, "You know, if we had that GPS we could mark exactly where the petroglyphs are and easily refind them." Music to my ears.

Anna has since found so many reasons for owning a GPS that she has asked me to order it tomorrow. Oh no!!!!! Looks like Anna's name might be after the "To:" on the wrappings. Hope she'll let me borrow it from time to time.
