Other: Spraydeck sizing

Is there an industry standard on spraydeck sizes? If so what are they? I built a Guillemot 17 and a Great Auk 17. I bought a spraydeck from Kayakstore.com and it is a little large on the Guillemot and too small for the Great Auk. On the next one I build I would like to get it just right.
