: I have used everything imaginable and many times on the same boat. I like
: Raka no-blush and the price is right. I think $95 gets you three gallons
: total. However I never had any problems with any other than the one time I
: screwed up my mixture.
: The most importantthing is to use a no blush for glass laying or.... scrub
: the layer with ammonia and water and sand between coats. I don't buy into
: that System three advice about laying a second coat on within a certain
: time period on a normal blushing epoxy. You can get blush in 6 hrs. Maybe
: you can but it makes me nervous when so much is at stake.
Hey now that im almost done. whats with the amonia and water how many parts of what? im using system three pulled an all nighter couple of weeks ago while coating the bottom side of my hull, went and put a fill coat on about 10 hours later and after it cured noticed that in some places I had a slight blush. not a happy camper (kayaker) I knew that sanding gets ride of the blush but I didnt know about amonia and I wont be waiting anymore between coats without sanding.
Thnx to all of you.
