Umm...well, I haven't actually used them, but they're there when I plan to!!

I'll install a cleat just forward of the hatch opening where I can tie off the line.

I figured it's easier to install them and never need them; than to not install them, need them one day, and then scratch my head for days trying to figure out how to put them in!
