That's funny!

When my wife and I moved out to Banks, I didnt even have to look at the house - there was a 100 x 36 slab out back with 'dream shop' written all over it. All I needed to do was to confirm with the county they'd let me build on it.

I took the equity out of my former residence, and built the biggest shell I could afford, over the best part of the old floor. Then I did the wiring and interior myself - finished just enough to keep it warm enough to build boats.

The point is, you might consider a place with enough room to do similar - pole barns are pretty easy and inexpensive buildings, and they go up fast. Ive never regretted it. The shop is bigger than the house, and thats the way it should be :)
