Why the large cockpit?
In Response To: Skin-on-Frame: More pictures *Pic* (Nick Schade - Guillemot Kayaks)
It seems to me that you really lose a lot of the character of a Greenland boat when you enlarge the cockpit and elimitate the function of the masik. The small cockpit/masik combination is one of the defining characteristics of a Greenland kayak and plays a big role in the way the boat handles.
