We'll see what happens. Ive been looking for a long time for something I could produce on a small scale out of that shop to make a little money on. I think Ive found it. I layed up the first prototype tonight. I ran out of cedar. Next week I'll buy some good material, and do a test production run of six or eight blanks. I figure with four jigs I can easily turn out an average of two blanks an evening, plugging at it part-time. I'll hafta get faster at carving them, thats what the drawknife is about. The ultimate way to do this is with a CNC router table... Make the blanks, let the machine carve them, and smooth them up and finish them.

If nothing else, I'll have some nice blades at R2K2! Are we going to have a raffle?
