: Hi, folks-Anybody out there know of an effective freestanding air cleaner? I
: need something portable, as I'm unable to vent to the outside of the
: unheated basement I'll be building in. I've seen models by Rigid and
: Delta; the Delta is just too big for my purposes. It's a small basement,
: with a low ceiling,(which precludes my installing something between the
: joists). Any informatio;n or ideas welcome.-Greg

I bought a shop vac portable model. I'm pretty happy with it picking sawdust out of the air. It is not terribly noisy (but that's a subjective thing). and it is lugable (it has handles, and is sold as portable) . I have it hanging from my ceiling in the picuture attached. This particular model seems to go on sale at Canadian Tire twice a year or so. I'm at work, so I don't have the model number.
