: I am in the process of building a kayak and was doing research to determine
: the best Performance/Price for epoxy. From what I have seen and heard, my
: safe bet would be RAKA. I have also read some good things about an epoxy
: product called Bio Seal 192. However, I could only get information about
: the product from the distributor of the product - Progressive Polymers.
: They tout it as being the best in its class.
: Does anyone know anything about the quality and/or how well this epoxy
: product would work in building a cedar strip boat?
I am also curious about the Bio Seal. I have not found user comments on this product in the kayak areas of info. The web page seems to add a lot of hype to the products which leads me to a slight sceptisism on my part. You can review the product from the link below. I have given thought to ordering some to try myself, but have not yet taken that step. If I don't get much for feedback on the Bio Seal product, I think my next epoxy order will go to Raka.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
