I can see it as a powerful tool for the "FAQ we've always wanted to write, but never have".

It wouldn't be difficult to provide a link to the KayakWiki-pedia from this forum to better describe something without having to rewrite something that has already been written.

For example, in discussing safety on the Techniques BBS, it would be easy to link to Safety:
