This is the place to look. Welcome.

Unfortunately it has grown to be a big repository.

There has been so much written by so many builders that it will take you a while to sort through and find stuff on JUST that Pygmy model -- but if you go to the archives and sort on "coho" you'll get a lot of hits.

Trust me, though, the time spent will be well worth it. Even those posts which have nothing to do with Pygmy or Cohos may contain tips you can apply to assemble this model with greater ease, and perhaps at a lower cost or in a shorter time.

One big competitor for Pygmy is CLC (Chesapeake Light Craft). You will find many comparisons (and contrasts) between the companies and their product lineups in the archives. Both companies have websites and both companies have ardent followers. Sometimes a bit too ardent. You may want to check their websites, though. Go to the bottom of one of these pages and click on the SEE kayak directory and you'll find these two, as well as links to a host of other sites.

Good luck with your project. People who have built Pygmy kits have reported that they were pleased with them. Check back sometime and let us know how you are doing.
