: For example, in discussing safety on the Techniques BBS, it would be easy to
: link to Safety: Shawn
I've just made it so you can put double square brackets (i.e. "[ [Safety] ]") around a word to make a link: KayakWiki . This is not ideal as it will not show the word you put the brackets around, but it will link to the referenced KayakWiki page. You can make it a little easier to understand by writing "[ [Safety] ]:Safety" which would result in: KayakWiki :Safety
It gets slightly complicated with multi word links such as "Paddling Technique" where you will need to put an underscore between the words "[ [Paddling_Technique] ]:Paddling Technique" otherwise it just links to the first word. The result is: KayakWiki :Paddling Technique.
Note: for the examples above I put a space between the two brackets so that they would not be made into a link.
Also Note: If you create a link to a word or phrase that does not yet exist it will just lead to a page that lets you define the new word or phrase.
Please use the "Preview" button before posting your message to make sure everything is linking as expected.
