Tom, could you be a little more specific? Is the delamination related to whatever is at the "seams". Is this crack/damage at the joint so large that the panels don't line up? This "hole", is it a quarter inch that can be filled with goop and backed with glass or is it a 1" chunk missing with 6" fracture radiating out along the direction of the grain?. I'd repair it in the same way you built it, sanding, grinding, glassing, filling, sanding, sealing, etc. If there's a hole much bigger than the thickness of the wood then replacing that hole with wood and backing it with glass on the outside with one layer of the same kind of glass that is on the hull and on the inside with a couple layers.
