The link below will take you to a page on the Mariner Kayaks website where you can download BEARBOAT for free. Be advised though, two very accomplished members of this BBS designed boats from scratch only to be very unhappy with aspects of their performance. I don't know what your level of paddling experience is. If you're just starting out, it might be wise to paddle a lot of different boats, try to figure out what elements of their design affect the performance characteristics that you like, and go into the design phase with some idea of cause and effect.
