I`ve been kinda wondering the same thing myself. I`ve done quite a bit of river tripping, but always in Royalex canoes. The idea is intriguing, but do you think a sea kayak will have the maneuverability for river running? I would like to think it`s doable, but class III in a 1/4 inch thick wood and glass boat? I dunno. Sounds like bad ju-ju to me. Maybe with a super expedition layup?

If there is a time and place for everything I think class II-III maybe the place for a tupperware boat, But I`m anxious to hear form others who may have had actual expearience in this area.
