Hi Bobby,
Major vote here for the adjustable shelf brackets. Get longer wall pieces and cut them down to say 3' lengths. 1 foot brackets are sufficient. space hangers on the wall at 4' intervals allows for storing shorter strips and keeps the work area clear.

Another advantage is that you can have the brackets say 6 to 8" above one another so you can get a lot of strips of different colors stored in a small area

When your done, you can put the small investment to work as a book shelf
