: The photo was taken from the bridge on rte 12, over the Chippewa Creek just
: before it enters Chippewa Bay on the St. Lawrence. 15 minutes S.E. of
: Morristown NY, 30 min N.E. of Alexandria Bay. Our plan was to paddle to
: Oak Point where we rent a cabin, the Blake House, each year (1st 2 weeks
: of August). I Haul the boats up from S.C.

: A storm came up as we paddled around Chippewa Point. What isn't shown in the
: picture is the canoe that was trailing behind with wife and other son. My
: oldest son and I switched into the canoe and wife and other son took the
: kayaks. Guillemots handled great in 3' waves. My son and I got flipped in
: the canoe. Was a long, cold and wet day but we made it back with help of a
: truck.

I live in Chippewa Bay!! I am a building contractor and work along the river in the towns of Hammond and Morristown. I have worked and know quite a few people in Oak Point. I know the Dake House, but not the Blake House. I know exactly where you described. Maybe we will meet one another.
