Well, here we go again at R&R Boatworks, his years projects are a pair of Adirodack Guide Boats. Plans are from Nick but the first boat will have slightly higher gunnels. I plan on puting a series of interlocking hexagons of walnut running down the length of the boat apporx. 1.5 inches below the gunnel. The main wood will be local pine and a ceder bottom board. Can't decide on gunnel and deck wood although walnut is figuring high on the list. Overall length will be aprox. 15' 8". Forms are up and ripping strips in progress. Willkeep you all posted and hopefully Russ can post some picks of our progress.
