Hi Shawn.

Based on the above feedback from y'all, my current plan is to (once the weather here dries out a little) rip off the strapping tape and get some ratchet-style straps that I can use to exert a little more pressure on the shells, thus lining things up better for the storage term.

Before joining the thing, I have to cut hatches, do a little cockpit work, and some sanding. Storing it with the halves lined up seemed to be the thing to do to prevent further misshapenness (is that a word?). Doing anything with the boat in the next two months or so really isn't an option. I don't have room or time. So, I'm kind of stuck.
