I'd just hot glue the stations in place ( if they're not already in place)
and wrap it in plastic (see my other posting on this).

Forget ratchets or only exterior pressure if you're only out of alignment
1/2". You can pull that in any time, but if you leave straps on I'd be
concerned that they'd make dips in the hull after a few months.
