Thre is no need to make a steamer that holds the whole length of your strip. You can use a shorter steamer, say 4 to 8 feet long, and let most of the strip hang out the end. Just pack rags around the open where the strips exit so you get a fair seal around those strips. That way you only steam the ends that are going to bend the most, and the rest of the strip will bend in the normal way for whatever gentle curves it needs to follow.
