Thanks for the kind thoughts. I glassed the inside shear on one side of the boat last night - got to get out of here and do the other side!

I did do the kneehooks as a separate project from the coaming. They actually extend nearly to the shear line on the inside of the deck, leaving the joint at the coaming as primarily esthetics. I used black tinted thickened expoxy for the fillet and it shows, primarily by hiding the weave of the carbon fiber cloth.

In an ideal world, it could be done in one go, but I think you would have to make up a male mold and vacuum bag it to be able to keep it in the radius between the vertical part of the coaming and the initial horizontal part of the kneehook. Seems like it might be easier to do on a separate jig and then transfer... Sounds like a project for my next boat.
