: I will be adding a rudder system to my Pygmy Coho. Everything I have read
: indicates that the SealLine SmartTrack rudder is a major advancement over
: traditional systems. Does anyone have any information or experience with
: this rudder or advice for other options? I would like to install myself
: but am unable to find a dealer in the Detroit area. Thanks for any
: information.

It is a great rudder. It is a very high tech product it is lightweight and smoth to use. The lines are stainless steel and of endless loop style so you dont have to adjust the lines. The steel lines gives a very precise stearing feel. The blade has a very smoth profile with very litle drag.

The standard blade suits kayaks that are easy to turn. for more hardturning kayaks the K2 blade is recomended
