SmartTrack Rudder System-Questions?

: It is a great rudder. It is a very high tech product it is lightweight and
: smoth to use. The lines are stainless steel and of endless loop style so
: you dont have to adjust the lines. The steel lines gives a very precise
: stearing feel. The blade has a very smoth profile with very litle drag.

: The standard blade suits kayaks that are easy to turn. for more hardturning
: kayaks the K2 blade is recomended

I am wondering how the cables come through the bottom part of the apparatus hole and it doesn't leak with all of the back and forth movement and wear and tear, and where does the skeg retract into? It looks like a flat plate the skeg is fastened to.
