: hi Kurt;
: if you are planning on bead and cove strips you can set up your router table
: to cut all your strips to uniform width on your first pass (cutting the
: bead). set up so that the strip passes between the cutter and the fence.
: the cutter will remove any excess material.

Hi Daren,

I am new to using a router,so forgive any ignorant questions. Does putting a piece between the bit and fence create a missle launching situation? I thought I read that example in a "beginners book" I bought. Do you use feather boards to prevent the strip from shooting out?

Thanks for your input, Kurt
