Short answer - if you're tired of futzing with it, it's close enough! ;)

I ended up with a bit of sideways curve to my keel line right at the stern of my CLC LT18 (sloppy stitching of the bottom panels to the sides?), visible when sighting along the keel. Maybe 1/2" out of true. Didn't see it before glassing because my workspace was small enough I couldn't get far enough away from one end to spot it.

I don't notice in the water.

Relax, make it look smooth, and it'll be fine.
