I bought a ryobi 5" for $40 at Home Depot. I own a Metabo 6"ROS which I love, but Rob Macks suggested that it was too heavy, too much power, and difficult to control. The Ryobi is the lightest I've seen, but it has a 2.7 amp motor.( as much or more than any other in it's class)I have other Ryobi tools, as well as Porter Cable, Bosch, De Walt and Milwaukee.Ryobi is not as well made as these, but better than home consumer stuff, and I've had Ryobi stuff last a good long time.
: At 25 bucks, I would have bought 2. We are using a DeWalt ROS (90$) and lovin
: it.
