: I bought a ryobi 5" for $40 at Home Depot. I own a Metabo 6"ROS
: which I love, but Rob Macks suggested that it was too heavy, too much
: power, and difficult to control. The Ryobi is the lightest I've seen, but
: it has a 2.7 amp motor.( as much or more than any other in it's class)I
: have other Ryobi tools, as well as Porter Cable, Bosch, De Walt and
: Milwaukee.Ryobi is not as well made as these, but better than home
: consumer stuff, and I've had Ryobi stuff last a good long time.
I received a sale cat. for one of those truck sales where they bring in semi truck loads of usually cheap tools this Thursday at our 4-H ground Building 3 miles from me. I'll have to go. They have a Ryobi 5" Random Orbital Sander for $29.99. What caught my eye is a 5 speed bench drill press for $39. Since I only occasionally need one it would be good enough for me. They list a web site I will post below.
