The Skin Boat School in/around Vancouver, BC also does classes, where you can build traditional skin-on-frame boats of the Pacific Northwest in intense 7 to 8-day classes under a master builder. I'm looking into getting them to come down and do a baidarka building class in the SF Bay Area this year.
