: wow,,you guys are amazing,,is it brittle? would it stay attached if the hull

Pete really has the science numbers down on RP-3260. I have decades of experience with this product and here is what I can tell you about it. If you drop a chunk of it, it can break. But I have applied it to a couple of boats I had in the past in small areas and it stayed in place, never seperated or cracked. You can buy it in as small quantities quarts. The rosin can must be stired and mixed because the carbide can settle in the bottom. This epoxy will weigh more then the clear epoxy you are use to using because of the carbide in it. The working time is about 15 minutes but I heated mixed cups of 3260 epoxy under a heat lamp so it was easier to apply and the working time was about five or 10 minutes. I don't know what the price is any more but I have two local sorces I can find out from if you are interested. When I was in the BWCA scratching the heck out of the bottom of my kayak on rocks I was wishing I had 3260 on the wear spots. I have use a lot of industrial epoxies but this is the one that always amazed me.
