I finally found soft and flexible 1/4-inch woven black rope for deck rigging. I have been looking for over a year and had about given up. Looks just like the white rope you can find anywhere but is black. I have seen black ropes other places but they are kinda stiff. Available from Seattle Fabrics at $.75 a yard.
