I have also thought of using a product such as this. Thanks for the link. I have not come across it available in the larger widths. I have seen tapes advertised for leading edge wing protection and had read an article where some had used it for leading edge propeller protection. Years ago I used a similar product to protect my down hill skis. It was very tough stuff.

Has anyone used a similar product on a hull for protection? Does it add much to the weight?
