John, the drill press is only good for "occasional use" It is poorly made, but if it does the occasional job, it may be worth it to you.

A side note about cummings tools: You can usually work with the sales people for a better price for some items. This fall I picked up a Ryobi thickness sander and got an additional $100 off their advertised price because it was damaged because the box was dropped. A phone call and two weeks later I had all the replacement parts, and a few extras dilivered at no charge.

But beware...many of the tools they sell are not very good quallity.
