: poorly made, but if it does the occasional job, it may be worth it to you.

: for a better price for some items. This fall I picked up a Ryobi thickness
: sander and got an additional $100 off their advertised price because it
: was damaged because the box was dropped. A phone call and two weeks later
: I had all the replacement parts, and a few extras dilivered at no charge.

: But beware...many of the tools they sell are not very good quallity.

Thanks Tom. I know you really have to watch what you buy. I got a packet of drill bits for Christmas that must be made out of wire. I hit screw while drilling through wood and mangled the cutting edge. On the other hand I bought a big heavy vise, made in China, at one of these sales many years ago and it has been very good. The price was so low that it was like buying scrape metal.
