McMaster Car used to carry it (polyurethane ultra abrasion protection tape #375965A681) 8 mil thick . I also have heard that Auto paint supply stores carry it in shorter rolls. They sell it for placement on car doors and other areas to stop stone scratches. I think 3M has it on their website under automotive products. I do not know were you can by the adhesion promoter. They may only suppliy it to automotive manufacturers?
