NO PROBLEM WITH WET WOOD. STEAM BENT ASH ON ALL THREE OF MY BOATS USING REGULAR CARPENTERS GLUE. BONDS ARE AS TIGHT AS CAN BE. IVE BEEN MANUFACTURING WATER BASED GLUES MY WHOLE LIFE AND AS MY E-MAIL ADDRESS SAYS, I AM A GLUE DOCTOR. GO AHEAD AND LAMINATE WET. YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEMS. JUST MAKE SURE IT IS FULLY DRY BEFORE TAKING OFF THE CLAMPING DEVISES.

GOOD LUCK -STEVE
