Gougeon Brothers, along with a few other designers and builders in conjunction with the Parks Department have developed a small wooden boat syposium in Saginaw Michigan in the mid-late summer. Located about 2 hours north of Detroit, it covers canoes, kayaks, sailing boats, row boats and older/restored powerboats.

Minimal cost to enter the park, and the "pond" is big enough where some will demo their boats.
