I first saw this idea mentioned in CLC Shop Tips in late 1997. I've used them a lot, and mentioned using them, but it wasn't my idea.
They don't work for everything, but when you need a lot of clamps, they're cheap and indispensable!!
They are wonderful for clamping sheer clamps and coaming rings.
