Hi Linda

I agree with Pete. It looks like a redo on that section. I'm blind in one eye and can't see outta the other right now, but it looks like the two, and another one two more down may be slipping out. I think the problem is the Chine stringer. It looks to have slipped down if comparing the distance from Chine to Gunnal on the two sides. You may have more lose, close to popping out on that side. I would say Pete is right in that you may need to uncover the hull and get to that side. The ribs look O.K. aside from the first one that may be sagging down a bit between the chine and keel. It looks like the fix might be in drawing the chine up a bit and inso-doing, that would bring your ribs up and into place. You could probably do that by merely running some sinew in from the chine to the gunnal in between a few of the ribs and drawing it up with twists in that line. That should bring the chine up and the ribs back into place. Double check the measurements between the chines and gunnals on each side to be sure. Can you see any obvious difference from side to side? Could the offending chine have warped downward?? What do you think Pete, or others?

As I said, I'm not seeing too good at the moment, but even with the angled view, it looks as though it has bowed a tad. Looks like an easy fix if you don't mind doing a recover. Hope that helps! ( more than it hurts )
