: Mark the 2x4 at one foot intervals. Screw a 3 or 4 inch long piece of 2x4 (or
: use 3/4 inch plywood scraps) along the top and side of the strong back at
: each mark. Then screw the form to the blocks so that the paper is against
: the blocks. The forward forms (9-0.5) should face forward and the aft
: forms (10-17) face aft. Use the reference marks to ensure the forms are
: properly aligned. I'm also building a Guillemot and have reached the point
: where the hull and deck are stripped and I'm ready to start planing and
: sanding. Nick Schade's book provides detailed instructions. If you don't
: already have it I suggest you purchase a copy. The book has ideas that
: have helped me incorporate ideas that I (as a first time strip builder)
: would not have otherwise thought of.

I second that. buy nicks book I also just completed a Guillemont, the book and this forum were invaluable.
