your hull strip has light diamonds on a darker linear background w/ pinstripes toward the middle. your deck strip is dots and slashes on a light background w/ lighter pinstripes toward the edge.

i suggest they don't relate somewhat. try to bring some of the hull approach into your deck approach. like possibly remove the dot and emphasize the triangular shape of its background (sim to 1/2diamond) say in the same lt wood.

try to bring some maybe even smallish but recognizable piece of each together.
