I am planning on building a similar boat from plans in the next few years.

: My Wineglass wherry arrived yesterday. 3 boxes with a bunch of plywood. I
: read the beginning of the manual thoroughly 3 times and the rest just
: once. I placed the epoxy juggs in hot water for 2 hours. I removed vent
: plug in the basement so that I could get more heat in there. I live in
: Windham, Maine and even thought we had a very warm winter it still gets
: cold. First thing I realized was that I did not have enough space to build
: only on my woodworking table. So I used some carton boxes and some storage
: boxes to extend the current table. I laid out first half of the wherry and
: nailed the first pair to the table. I'm about to nail the rest of this and
: start planning on the fiberglass joinery. I have never worked with epoxy
: so the first step is scary.

: I'm thinking about putting some plastic bag under the joints so that I don't
: glue the whole thing to my table.

: I will probably get my flash and start taking pictures. I don't have digital
: camera though so the pictures will probably materialize later into the
: project after I scan them into my pc.
