Don't sweat it ! You're not screwed. I am still new to epoxy too, so I understand your concerns that you will "blow IT". I mean epoxy is pretty permanent and if you screw it up you are at least till you fix it "Screwed". But in my experience (others may correct me here) the addition of wood flour at your scarf joints will be fine (as long as you did not put way TOO much in the mix.) Don't worry, wood flour in the right proportions makes a strong bond.
