You're building a Pygmy, right? If you just joined the butt joints together and epoxied them you are ok. This is not the time for thickened expoy. The wood flour is used later on when the whole mess starts to look like something that should be on the water. Just follow the instructions and have fun.
We are buliding 3 Pygmys. Test subject #1 (my boat) is almost ready to start gluing the deck together. I can see how this building process can be very addictive, so use caution!!!! This is my first boat,and my first experience with epoxy and glass. A few minor snags, but nothing that couldn't be easily fixed.
